Position Overview: 
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Lead QA Automation Engineer. As the Lead QA Automation Engineer, you will lead and manage our automation testing efforts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and processes, as well as managing a team of automation testers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, along with expertise in SQL, Azure, .NET, C#, Selenium, and Appium. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Lead and manage the automation testing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members. 
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts for web and mobile applications. 
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. 
  • Define and implement automation testing strategies, best practices, and standards. 
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure the quality and reliability of automated test scripts. 
  • Coordinate with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize testing efforts and identify areas for automation. 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automation testing tools, technologies, and trends. 
  • Provide leadership in driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of automation testing processes. 
  • Communicate test results, metrics, and progress reports to stakeholders and management. 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 
  • Proven experience (6+ years) in automation testing, with a focus on web and mobile applications.
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. 
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for database testing and querying. 
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure. 
  • Proficiency in .NET and C# programming languages. 
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Appium for automated testing. 
  • Experience in designing and implementing automation testing frameworks from scratch. 
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, QA processes, and best practices. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 
  • Experience testing with Playwright. 
  • Relevant certifications in automation testing or related areas. 
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). 
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI. 
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
