We are seeking a talented content writer with a passion for education and experience in EdTech, Behavioral Health, or Benefits Administration to help us create engaging and impactful content.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a skilled and experienced marketing content writer with strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills. This person will work alongside the marketing team in partnership with sales and product teams to create high-quality, targeted content that resonates with our target audiences and drives measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
Develop engaging, high-quality content for our website, landing pages, blog, social media platforms, and email campaigns as well as case studies, thought leadership articles, video scripts, and additional content as needed.
Help develop and iterate on RethinkFirst’s voice, tone and messaging guidelines.
Create copy for various marketing materials such as sales collateral, brochures, and presentations, and ensure that the messaging is consistent.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product, customer success, design studio, and sales to develop messaging, positioning, content, and emails that align with business objectives.
Edit and proofread all market-facing content for accuracy, grammar, and spelling, ensuring that all content is both accurate and high quality.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality content within deadlines.
Work alongside Web Marketing team to create new SEO content that improves website visibility and organic reach. Revise existing web pages as needed to improve optimization.
Stay up to date with industry trends to produce relevant, research-driven content, incorporating findings into day-to-day work and relaying insights to help shape content strategy.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Proven experience in product marketing and content writing, preferably in the EdTech, Behavioral Health, or Benefits Administration sectors.
- Familiarity with topics such as Mental Health, SEL, MTSS, Behavior Management, Professional Development, and Special Education is a plus.
- Track record of collaboration with graphic designers, studio and production teams to develop cohesive, visually dynamic marketing collateral.
- Skills:
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to translate complex topics into accessible and engaging content for educators and decision-makers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to give and receive feedback in a positive, constructive manner.
- Proficiency in SEO principles and digital content creation.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with content management systems and collaboration tools (e.g., WordPress, Asana) is a plus.
- Experience with EdTech, Behavioral Health, or Benefits Administration tools and platforms is an advantage.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
